The best part of taking surfing lessons in Samara Beach is that
our beach is safe and friendly. Our beach is mostly protected by reef so we have a very gentle beach break. Our school is located approximately 1 km from central Samara. We have placed ourselves outside of town away from the crowds and distractions. The gentle beach break provides perfect waves for the beginner. They are just the right size and strength to help build your confidence on waves. High tide also provides nice and small green faces for the intermediate surfer who is just learning to drop in on waves.
For the more advanced surfer who is looking to polish their skills might find our gentle waves boring. For these surfers, we offer day excursions to several larger beach breaks and to other extraordinary point breaks in our region. The Pacific Coast of the Nicoya Peninsula is breathtaking and perfect for surfers of any level. Jimmy, one of our owners, has surfed this coast his entire life and knows all the "secret" breaks. You will never have to wait in a lineup to catch a wave with us!
